Dr. Quackenbush occasionally supervises psychologists who have at least a Masters level of education. They are all able to practice in Denmark. These psychologists charged 700 DKK per hour and payments are made directly to the Little White House.
Practicing Psychologist: Pola Koba
Pola is a psychologist with an MSc in Clinical Psychology and additional background in Global Refugee Studies. She offers treatment that draws on insights from various therapeutic schools, tailoring her approach to meet individual needs and goals - however, her work is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, complemented by mindfulness-based methods and other evidence-based techniques.
As a psychologist and immigrant herself, Pola brings both clinical expertise and a deep personal understanding of the psychological challenges faced by internationals - particularly around identity, belonging, adaptation, and grief. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, and adjustment-related difficulties.
Pola is also the founder of the Expats Mind Care Club in Copenhagen - a local initiative offering workshops and support groups for immigrants. She provides sessions in English and Polish.
Pola offer free, brief initial consultations through the Little White House (choose Wednesday at 15:00) or to schedule a full length initial consultation with Pola, click here.
